    hi Alex,
    the most beautiful nature for me is in the middle Norway - there are 3 nat. parks and i can recommend all three: in Jotunheimen you can try to climb up the highest mountain of scandinavia plus try a walk on the glacier which is superb experience. In Rondane you can hike for days in beautiful walleys and in Dovrefjell, the hthird park you have chance to see Musk-ox, wonderful animals living only at this place and one place in canada.
    regarding fjords - nt far from jotunheimen is geiranger, famous norwegean fjord BUT i highly recommend to visit Preikostolen which is close to city stavanger on the south west coast.. if not bad weather, you will see what you never saw before :)

    regarding costs: the best is to go by car as gas is quite cheap while travelling by train is a bit costy. you can try hitchhiking thought sometimes its a bit problem as its not that common here. destpite this fact, my friends managed to hike through most of the norway without any bigger problems..

    and cost of food: bread round 1eur, 1kg of ham round 15eur, 1,5l of cola round 0.5eur.

    Hi There,

    I'm from Holland and I'm thinking about spending the beginning of August in Norway (probably alone). I really want to see the Fjords, for the rest I want to see more of the nature. In general I skip the cities and the parties during my hollidays. If anyone has some good suggestions I'd like to hear them. Furthermore, I do not have a real idea of the costs of living in Norway so if someone can help me to get an idea of the costs I would really appriciate it as well.
